My thought on the movie as a whole: Nolan has taken the cliche, film student’s concept of “Is it a dream or is it reality? We don’t know OMG OMG OMG OMG,” and turned it into one kickass action movie. He proves that if you have enough talent, you can make cliches feel fresh.
